Trava Security Joins ACT

Trava Security is the newest company to join the Big “I" Agents Council for Technology (ACT).

“Independent insurance agencies interact with sensitive client information every day, making cybersecurity a critical part of every agency's business. Cyber risk management can also be a competitive advantage for agencies that develop an expertise and leverage it in helping their clients," says Chris Cline, ACT executive director. “ACT is excited to welcome Trava on board as we continue to guide agencies in protecting themselves and their customers against the myriad of evolving cyber risks."

Founded by a former FBI cybercrimes task force officer and a data backup software engineer, Trava leverages powerful scanning technology, industry expertise and an intuitive platform to protect businesses, insurance agencies and their customers from cyber threats, integrating risk assessment, risk mitigation and cyber insurance preparation into a comprehensive and user-friendly solution

"In today's digitalized, data-driven environment, cybersecurity isn't just a must—we believe that a secure and compliant cybersecurity foundation can even be a tool for growth for independent agencies," says Jim Goldman, CEO & co-founder of Trava. “We're proud to partner with ACT in our shared mission to equip agencies and their clients with the resources they need to navigate the complicated world of cyber risk mitigation."

The Agents Council for Technology (ACT) was established in January 1999 by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the Big “I") to provide a candid, action-oriented forum to address the critical workflow and technology issues facing the independent agency system. ACT helps participants understand the perspectives of the other stakeholders in the process and provides excellent networking opportunities with the participants who are shaping the future for the industry on these issues.
