Meet Abbey.

Hi, my name is Abbey Szentes, and I am Trava's HR generalist.

In your words, what is your role at Trava.

At Trava I really help guide people through their entire employee lifecycle, through supporting them, to ensure their wellbeing and growth while contributing to the success of Trava.

Describe Trava in 3 words.

In three words I would say Trava is authentic, supportive, and exciting.

Where is your happy place?

I would probably say either above 14, 000 feet on a mountain or in Cancun…polar opposites, but I love them both.

If you could give your 13-year-old self advice, what would it be?

I think it would be to just focus on yourself and not worry about what everyone else is doing.

What is your favorite motivational quote?

What has been your favorite project at Trava?

Honestly, all the recruitment efforts I've done for Trava and hiring. Just because I get to talk about Trava, which is honestly one of my favorite things, and spreading the word about who we are, why we're so amazing, and the impactful things we're doing is one of my favorite parts of the job.

Easy, dogs.

What is your definition of success?

My definition of success would be ensuring that whatever the original goal was is met in some form. Obviously, goals change, especially in today's environment with different stakeholders. So I would honestly say success is not necessarily the original goal, but the goal that was agreed to by all the stakeholders as long as that's achieved and met.
